The Rolling Stones set was preceded by 45 minutes of dense neo- psychedelia
from Blind Melon, a good young band with influences ranging from San Francisco
1969 to Seattle 1992. They seemed a bit overwhelmed by the vastness
of the stage, which clearly wasn't designed for them. People were
still filing in during their set, which included a homage to John Lennon
and his "Working Class Hero."
